What on earth could have been wrong with the Renault engine that came in it? and Where is the flux capacitor

The flux capacitor was replace by a unatainium drive unit from Pandora.

they came with Volvo V6's, my boss has one at the shop that we are supposed to be putting back together if he ever finds a replacement motor for it. thats not going to be a fun project.

Neal Harrington told me that a 2.8 liter Citation X-11 motor makes a much neater fit than that in-line six. Installing slightly leaky cast iron S-10 pickup exhaust manifolds adds 3 hp, just like on his Fiero

Art, there is no reason to pick on me just because you have unresolved persecution issues from your Ford addiction. Besides, swapping anything into the engine bay of a Delorean just makes it even more tail heavy than a 911 without the benefit of decades of single-minded development!
