Well, hanging out with you guys has had it's effect. I just got a call from one of my elderly neighbors asking what I was doing with my car trailer in my drive way. It seems the neighbor across the street's house is going on the market and this neighbor said she was chosen to call me about this problem. Apparently the though is that we will get a lesser quaility person purchasing that house if my car trailer remains in the driveway.

To fully see the humor in this you have to know that my next door neighbor (between me and the lady that called) has been doing a major redo. Sort of an extreme home with out benefits of an architect or gay designer for the last two years. They partial demolished a perfectly good 2910 foot home and have trippled the square footage by going up one story and adding a garage the is bigger than the foot print of the house. We have been having the pleasure of a bright blue out house, large dumpster, and Hispanic radio for the last 24 mos. non stop.

Can we have a Lemons TNT day at my house. Great Culdesac to practice victory doughnuts.

I hope I don't blow a rod when I start my very quite race car tonight about 10 30.

hey, at least they came straight to you rather than filing some annonymous compaint with your HOA (this is one of the reasons i refuse to live in a community with an HOA).

what are they gonna do, ask your neighbor to stop rennovations while they sell their house...still, a lemons work day with grinders going all day would be kind'a fun.

This is why I refuse to live in a neighborhood at all! Most HOA's aren't enforceable, but people think they are therefore they annoy you. But even when you don't have one, people still think they can annoy you.

Out in the middle of the woods is where it's at.

Why have one Lemons car when you could have 5 plus a few donor cars. Throw in a few dozen cars to get us all there and the almost endless supply of empty beer cans (I think there is a rule that no work can be done on a Lemons car using both hands so holding a beer prevents any accidental violations).

If this doesn't work you could always just tell her it is to much of a hassle to unload the whole meth lab from the trailer. Maybe just an old junker on blocks to replace the trailer.

Here to help anytime you need ideas....

Dieter is G-Vegas bound on Sunday. I'm sure Walter wouldn't mind coming to your house to pick him up from you. 8)

I recently got a "letter" for parking my trailer in my driveway for 4 freaking hours.

The President of the HOA is a retired bitter man who lives across the street.

We are so gone next year. (2010)

Geeze... go poor some juice out of a tuna can into his air vents... make sure you ask him if it all of a sudden smell's like spoiled fish come summer time

I would tell him to kiss my a$#... then again, im sure I would have a few lawsuits against me if I had an HOA to answer to.

Advice -- Fix your neighbor's cars for them. That's how I can manage to keep ... um, holy crap I just counted ... 8 cars, 2 trailers, and 3 motorcycles at my house, in Cary. Yes I have a problem.

I fixed my neighbor's oil pump nut on his M3, and diagnosed the across-the-street neighbor's trans lockout. Of course it helps that I have cool neighbors, no HOA, and covenants that don't fill up a page :)

Cline lives on the wrong side of Greenville. We don't have an HOA in my neighborhood, but I have had Code Enforcement write me warning tickets twice. Once was because a neighbor was trying to sell his house and just couldn't come ask me to move my old truck. So, since that 1966 1 Ton flat bed is licensed and insured. I moved it closer to his house. I moved it every 3 days so it would not get ticketed. He called the police, but they told him it was legal (and quite ugly). I'll be happy to bring it over today
The second time was because the officer was just driving by, but that is another story.
Like Mike, a little car work and a few loads of mulch in my old truck have gone a long way in keeping neighbors off my back.
I really don't understand why neighbors can't just talk out their concerns.
I'll bring my Camaro over too and leave a 100+ ft burnout down the street. Check this out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMMO7esTTVo
Skip to about the last 25%. That is the good part.
