The time has come to part with the 944. Too many projects and not enough time to give it the love it needs. I don't think that it really needs much, but could use some off-season maintenance. It's not a perfect car but it's fun and a hoot on the track. Can be competitive at a not-so-tight autocross too. It's on Craigslist (http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4828317965.html) with the information below. Pictures are there and I've got more and higher resolution if you are interested. I've listed it at $6900 but am negotiable. If you are interested or know anyone else who might be, let me know. Thanks, Lee

Looks good. Runs great. Nearly new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on 18” GT3 Sport Design wheels. 225 in front, 275 in the rear. Momo steering wheel. Corbeau seats. Big Red (993TT) brakes. Lindsey Racing 3” exhaust with ceramic coating. Recently repaired or replaced: rear axles, power steering pump, front and rear wheel bearings, and distributor cap and rotor. Heat and A/C work well.

Damn Lee, say it ain't so! What are you going to track and autox now? BTW, don't know if you read it or not, but I have my old 328 back. Right now my oldest son is driving it. Don't expect back till June. Maybe autox it next year....

There's an odometer pic that shows 114k. Still maybe not safe to assume that's correct, but seems somewhat likely, anyway.

Yes, Rodney, it is so. I sat at the same table with Vincent at the Christmas party and must have caught something. I had been thinking of replacing the Porsche with an E46 M3 but for some reason, that urge has faded away. Instead, I got a 2005 350Z. So far, it is a lot of fun. They are not supposed to be particularly great at autocross without drastic mods but I really like the car.

Charlie, as far as the mileage on the car, I honestly do not know. The odometer says 114K but it is broken and hasn't worked since I have had the car. I've had the car a little less than 3 years and have not driven it that much myself. I cannot vouch for how much the previous owner drove it although I don't think it was much and I'd guess total mileage at less than 135K.
