Who wants a FREE engine hoist? This is a former rental we obtained in California a looooong time ago and is VERY heavy - my guess is 400 - 500 lbs. It is a tow type. The tires hold air enough for a relatively short tow from NW Raleigh off Leesville Road near I 540. The metal wheels and castor wheels used for positioning are frozen so actually being able to use it as intended will need some work. However, the hydraulic piston still works.

It will need one or two strong people to lift the tongue to roll it across about 50 feet of lawn before attaching to a trailer hitch.

We don't care if you use it or sell it for scrap and keep the $$$. We just have no further need for it plus we seem to have lost the muscles that allowed us to use it many years ago for our Lotus Europa engine removal/install projects. :(

OR anyone know somebody who picks up scrap metal that you would trust to come to your driveway? Craigs List has ads but ?????

Thanks!

Dick

Seeing a mention of Wheels4Hope in another thread made me think that they might be interested, and they are a good charity. They provide low cost cars for the working poor.
