So I'm helping my mom by selling my dad's Jeep if anyone's look for a decent sub $10k tow vehicle.

It's 11 when I drive it around town. :lol:

I did my best on a trip to Chapel Hill to go mountain biking and did my best to 'hypermile' it. With 5:00pm stop & go traffic leaving Chapel Hill, door to door from DT Raleigh, I ended up at 17.5mpg. Not horrible but nothing to write home about.

That's right on par with what I get in the v8 4Runner. Nothing I do makes it move much from 16-18mpg, except for adding a trailer, then it drops to 12-13mpg. I think that's just the reality of driving a v8, AWD SUV.

Matt, I'm assuming this only has 2 row seating? I'd take a look at it if there was a 3rd row seat.

Yep, it's only two row unfortunately. It's a great vehicle but as someone who has a Focus hatch as the 'large' family car, it's just a monster for us to consider keeping.

I'll probably toss it on Autotrader soon for decent exposure.
