I think mine is a 24' and I need a 32' or so to get to a gutter on the 2nd floor. Anyone have a tall ladder I can use for a day? Thanks!

Oh yeah, now for some tech. Do you need to make repairs, or just clean it. If you are cleaning, buy one of these (or borrow mine).

Well worth the money. I also bought an extension pole (probably 15 foot?) to go with it.

Not just cleaning ... I have a plugged section (that was just cleaned) and am making some changes. I suspect the downpipe up at the top is plugged, so I may need to disassemble and clean. Really I need to replace the 3" with a 4" so I might do that at the same time. At the same time I'm putting in the foam gutter filters from Home Depot. I had done a small section a couple years ago and have been mostly happy with them, so I'm putting them on the whole house (and garage, and shed, and poolhouse!)

I've got a guy that has been walking the roof and cleaning everything twice a year for like $40 a pop. He's great, but several areas have become problematic and I don't want to have him come more often.

Hey thanks for the offer (Rodney) but I ended up buying a 28' tonight, which is all I need.

FYI I have a 24' Werner 250lb ladder in nice shape that I would gladly trade for a 20' in similar condition. Anyone need an upgrade?

Damn, i have a 250lb werner 16' that i would love to trade you for. Since i'm in Richmond i don't have a way to get it down there though. The new family truckster has no roof rails. :(

hmm, 16' would probably be fine too for me. Well, keep it in mind next time you find a way down here. I'm just going to hang onto the 24' for a while until I find a trade
