I bought this car about a year ago, and it's been rotting in front of my house. My brother and I were going to try to use it to compete in the Grassroots Motorsports $2013 contest. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time, or talent to make that happen. Basically I'm an idiot and got in over my head. There is an undiagnosed electrical problem that drains the battery if it is left in the car. I'm pretty sure the alternator works at least enough to keep the car running (although I haven't had it tested). If you research the EXP this is the Sport model so it has the better motor and is a 5 speed. I haven't looked at the car much, but it seems to be leaking a small amount of power-steering fluid.

$500 to club people or friends of the club. I've got $1600 into the car (again I'm an idiot), so I'm just trying to recoup a little.

Thanks for looking. E-mail to turner_oppy@yahoo.com is probably the best way to contact me.

If anyone is looking for a affordable way to go rally crossing, this is certainly one way to do it.Sounds like it runs good, has some money in it, so should do good things right off the bat.Someone buy this car, and rally cross it.It sounds too good to let it go to someone else.FWD, 5 speed, and cheap entry price,
what more do you need.

I bet with a bit of work you can reduce the 2,400-ish pound weight down a bit, too. Swap in a later BP engine for more fun.

Happy to report that a friend and I bought the EXP today and plan to be at the Fayetteville Rallycross next month. Lots of work to get it ready but we're fired up about this new (for us) adventure. Look for us at the track - we're the two old guys who look absolutely lost!!

We plan to be there ,in our vw golf.Flying my freind's shop BFI colors...On our license plate holder.I got it because i bought some abs parts, the abs still does not work..But it is not because of that part,it is something else. The car was very cheap,so it could be anything. As a very loved member of hte club would say.

See ya on track.
