  • 4-5 qts of Redline 10w30 - buy me good beer
  • 4-5 qts of Amsoil MTF - buy me good beer
  • Bunch of lumber I've collected over the years of houses being built - 2x4 and 1x6 mostly - free
  • Lots of automobile fluids (some unopened, some partially used)

I'll occasionally be adding new things so check the original post.

Funny, in the early 90s everybody and their brother I knew at the time were buying this shit up and paying premium pricing for them. Everyone who was doing it I asked why, they would always point to some 30-70s baseball card that was worth $1000s as their justification. Countless times I heard "If just one of these cards does that I'll make money". My response would always be the same. The reason that 30-70s baseball card is worth so much is because nobody in the 30-70s ever thought they would be and therefor nobody collected them, they are rare now, 80-90s everybody and their brother is buying/collecting these things so they will never be rare and therefor never be worth anything and you are most likely just wasting your time/effort/money on these silly things, seemed pretty simple to me at the time even as a 19 year old kid, its good to be right. :D Sorry James...

I think you should just mail them to Les. Spread it out over time so you catch him off guard. ;)

PS: Good luck at Amazon and the west coast. I have visited Seattle a few times and I can see making it fun. Especially if you like the outdoors.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

If you still have this I am quite interested. When would you need it picked up by?

So moving company said no oil, no aerosol, no flammable liquids. So I have a lots of brake cleaner, brake fluid, motor oil, MAF cleaner, small engine carb cleaner, 2 cycle oil, high temp grease....the list goes on.

Please consider stopping by and take some stuff, I don't want to throw stuff away I know my brethren can use.

James I'll be over Fri afternoon to pick up the tickets, and help clear you out. With a busted Porsche, a Chumpcar, 3 motorcycles from the 70's and 80's, and a recently acquired fixer-upper riding mower, I promise I'll put it all to use :)

I was going to pick up some wood this weekend. Maybe I can just swing by your place to get it.

Please do. Mind you it's not like it's amazing lumber and there is some dried dirt/mud on some pieces but great wood for projects or mocking something up or building a small chair to sit on while doing brakes instead of squatting and hurting your knees (fat person problems) :).

Still have 6qts of Redline 10w30 (low NOACK, high end of 30 weight range, high HTHS vis, ACEA A3 rated). It's great for a K-series, B-series or turbo charged European engine. $20 for all 6 qts (usually 10-12/qt) or 2 good six packs.

I also have 4 qts of Amsoil MTF (30 weight in the engine oil specs and 80 weight in gear oil). Great for Honda's and many other cars than need 80-85 weight gear oil in the trans. 1 x 6 pack

1 gallon of Formula V tire treatment (softens hard tires and adds 15hp). 1 x 6 pack

Hammock and stand $100 for a THSCCer: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/fuo/4454078558.html

Lasko space heater: free, like this: http://www.clarityfurniture.com/wp-cont ... heater.jpg

DC Integra front ball joints: free

I will take the Redline oil for $20. I may also want the Amsoil.

I guess I can check out the wood while I'm there, too.

I'll take the hammock and space heater off your hands. Give me a call when you have a chance and we can meet up this week 919-602-8325. I work in RTP if it's easier to meet during the day.
