This one is setup such that supposedly Honda motor mounts bolt right to the chassis and then it accepts Honda power (K series, I think, though I'm guessing just about anything can be made to work relatively easily). Here's a list of what we have with it:
Rolling chassis w/ body panels, brake plumbing, steering rack & floorpan
2 Roll hoop supports
2 Seats w/ side brackets
Footpedal box & 3 master cylinders
Koso Digital Dash unit
Steering column & wheel
Fuel tank filler
2 Headlights
2 Side mirror/Turn signal units
4 Brake Calipers
Brake line kit
Bulkhead piece
Front & Rear Fenders
Universal chassis wiring harness w/ fuse box
Radiator
4 Corvette wheels and new tires
Things NOT included that we've noticed you'll need:
Rear brake and indicator lights (RCR has these, or you can do custom)
Fuel tank (RCR has this, or you can do custom)
Engine/tranny/axles (Talk to me if you want a K20/K24/tranny/ECU and I can make you a package)
Fender mounts (RCR or fab)
harness/belts
exhaust
intake
Seems like what I have would MSRP from RCR for about $15k. I'm pretty firm at $10k for the stuff listed above. I have a pretty fresh K24 with a nice endurance build and fresh tranny (and wiring and ECU) and I also have a K20 that's still VERY strong, but does have a good bit of track time and is using a small amount of oil now along with matching tranny (shifted fine when removed) and ECU. Can make a package with either of these. That would leave axles and exhaust and intake to fab.
This would be a pretty quick build for someone already experienced with Honda drivetrains. Should be some pretty huge fun on track, and there's no reason why you couldn't title it most places as a kit car. Email me at
djb@donniebarnes.com or call 919-967-4027 if interested. Located in Chapel Hill, NC. Buy in the next few days and I could potentially deliver anywhere between here and Arizona on Jan 11-13.
