i recently picked up a e46 and it has 17x8.5 wheels all around. unfortunately it has three different size tires (from three different manufacturers) and i'd like to get them at least somewhat matched so i need either two 225.45.17 or 245.40.17. let me know if you have anything lying around, thanks. email jtower@gmail.com

Not sure if Kevin still has these or not.

I have a full set of BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires, 235/45ZR17 For Sale. Tires have maybe 800 miles on them, they look *almost* new. This specific model has been recently discontinued by BFG, but they sold for ~$200 each new. I'll sell all 4 of these for $400.

I had these on 3 different cars. They handle well dry & wet and were reasonably quiet until they got down to the wear bars. This is a solid deal. - AB

Tirerack is currently selling the Dunlop DZ101 in 225.45.17 for $90 per tire. I ran these tires on the 968 once before, and just put a new set of 4 on. That's a really good price on a decent summer tire. I got >2 years use as a daily driver out of them, and I had a few autocrosses on them as well. I'd estimate ~25k miles.

Just my 2 cents.

Only 17s i run on the wrx are like 215 or so 17s, on my autocross wheels. Not wide enough, can really only get like a 7 inch or so under her I think.Street compound, because my car lovers front tires.

I have four clapped out 888 - 235/45/17. Pay me enough to have them dismounted and they are yours.

Still have tread, no flat spots that I am aware of but they were sketchy in the uphill esses two years ago.

looks like i won't be street driving this car so probably don't need tires any longer. although i could use one more 17x8.5 style 68 wheel, right now i have three 8.5 and two 7.5.
