I want a Hero 2 you guys. I am fixing to move to WCU and I want to capture some footage from my motorcycle and autocrossingand other heroish things. The suction cup mount is important for the bike, thats about all I need so a pieces missing kit might be just fine!

You'll have to find a used here2 off of craigslist or fleabay. I recently purchased a new camera and the website now only sells the hero3 in silver or black. Some of the big box stores are now selling mounts for the camera, but you may have to order the bike setup on line. Good luck finding what you need!

I also assume the WCU is Western Carolina? Mom's not going to be happy w/ that 8)

You can have mine, it's been flaking out and randomly locks up, I've been using the Hero1. You can seriously have it just remember it has problems.

My gopro1 did the same thing and the gopro site states they no longer support it. If you can find the firmware, it may be worth reflashing, but I gave up looking for the firmware.

I've tried re-flashing, but it hasn't seemed to help. I'm done messing with it. I'm going to buy a Hero3.

We use a Contour Roam in our Chumpcar - you know, where the thing actually has to work for hours and hours on end :wink:

I've heard good things about these and know a couple of people with one. I need to look more into them. That's a good price.
