Congrats Ram! So you know you can't buy a car like that and not share your plans for next year?

Assuming you got the unobtanium rims, is it going to be on stickies in BS, RT (not a bad option on the plethora of awesome ST choices plus the PAX discount), or STR?
As far as last year, driving my AP2 with only a Saner front bar and 235 (would have done 225's in retrospect)/255 'Specs was fun but it was a world of difference from the two S2000s I got to co-drive through the year. Jeremy's AP2 with the 9" wheels was a blast and just felt a lot more planted on the longer transitions, like the Danville sweeper heading to the main runway. Basically the back end simply didn't want to step out and less correction was needed for the same amount of throttle input as the car didn't roll as much. I was lucky enough to
be only about 0.17 behind Zach although he coned away a run a couple tenths faster, but looking back, who didn't cone that day?
Through the tighter stuff, you could get on the throttle a bit earlier as it just felt like there was more confidence to keep you foot down through more traction to the rear tires but with the giant bar, that car was definitely better off versus being prone to rotating too much under throttle.
At the second Fayetteville event I drove Mat Milford's suzuka AP1 and that car felt quite a bit different too with a decent coilover setup but on stock wheels with 225/245 Star Specs. It was tough to gauge as the lot was a slower, more techinical layout with 3 downshifts to first but the car felt 'flat' compared to how my 85k mile shocks would have treated me with stock springs. The course was still a blast too and reminded me of the Wilson rally-x with the 1-2-1-2.. shifting.
Karl, after five years of autocrossing and daily driving my '97 R that I bought in cherry condition from the first owner at 24k miles, I know the feeling all too well. At least you're not such a nerd that you felt compelled to take a photo of it getting towed/driven away by the new owner. This guy came all the way from Boston and payed about $1k more than asking price, so that eased the pain but I should have kept it.

I second Les' idea and I fixed the spelling for you. Plus, you could just sell the Miata and buy three sets right off the bat. Besides, wouldn't an NB just collect dust when you have an AP2 and a Cayman? j/k..

Or leave the car completely alone, get some fresh Hoodawg$ for it and beat everyone.
