OK, someone buy this from me, I'd like to see it stay in club....

This is Ford’s tribute car to the movie Bulliitt, staring Steve McQueen, and I think they did a great job and it is by far, or at least in my opinion, one of the best looking mustangs there is. There is nothing over the top about this car, it’s very understated. This is the only mustang that does not have a running horse or other emblem on the grill. There is no hood scope, stripes, spoilers or wings on this car.
This particular Bullitt is serial number 5386 of 6624 ever produced and I’m the 2nd owner of this car. Here’s the list of options w/ the car….
> Addco front sway bar w/ upgraded mounting hardware
> Strano rear sway bar
> Koni yellow shock/struts
> Maximum Motorsports camber/caster plates
> UMI panhard bar
> Vogtland springs, lowers the car about an inch
> MGW short shifter, no more missed 3rd gear shifts
> SCT hand held tuner w/ Breenspeed tune for 87/89&93 octane
> MRT custom shift knob w/ 5386 serial number
> 40% window tint, NC legal
> trailer hitch rated at 2000lb w/ powered 4point electrical connector
> sound deadening install in tire well in the trunk
> air pump and tire slime replaced w/ a factory spare tire, jack and iron.
> additional trunk mat w/ pony emblem
> upgraded plush floor mats, front and rear.
> smoked front turn signals, originals included
> Dr. Color chip paint kit
The Bullitt car itself had some very nice upgrades from Ford. Those being…
> Dark Highland Green paint.
> upgraded GT500 seats w/ better side bolstering
> upgraded GT500 leather wrapped steering wheel w/ Bullitt center cap
> Bullitt sill plates
> Bullitt gunsight rear faux gas cap
> Bullitt gunsight gauges
> Ford upgraded ECM, senses 87/89/92 gas and increases HP based on the gas you use
> Shaker 500 stereo
> unique Bullitt painted wheels
> unique machine turned dash
> RPM bumped to 6500
> this bullitt also had the optional HID head lights and Sirius radio
> 58k miles on the odo, still has a few miles left on the factory drive train warranty.
I’ve taken very good care of this car and oil changes were performed at every 5k miles using Castrol 5w20 as recommended.
This car needs nothing and is ready to roll, it’s just looking for a new owner. If you take an average from NADA, KBB and Edmunds, I come up around $19700 for car. I’m selling to the club for 19,500 and that includes everything listed above that was added to the car, 2 extra sets of wheels and tires (listed below) AND includes all of the factory suspension items and shifter and shift knob. This is a great buy.
> 1 set of four FR500 knockoff wheels, 18x10 w/ Hankook RS-3’s, 285 width used for autox, 50% tread left
> 1 set of four factory wheels, 18x8.5 w/ Bridgestone snows
I am going to miss this car considering it took me over a year to find the "right" one, but I have other things I need to get taken care of right now. In a few years I'll have another nice car and one I won't have to worry about the sunroof in. I'll just keep the mazda 3 to autox, seems to be a very fun car. If this doesn’t sell to a club member, I’m going to take off all of the go fast parts off and sell it stock. I’d really rather not have to do all that work, so please buy it from me!
It's going to hit CL and autotrader at 19500 without the 2 sets of tires.
