SOLD2002 Subaru WRX Sedan, Blue, 156k, very good condition, modest upgrades - $6900

2002 Subaru Impreza WRX sedan, World Rally Blue on black interior, 156k miles, very well maintained, adult enthusiast owned, modestly upgraded for power, reliability, and fun but comfortable street driveability. Practical, roomy, fast, looks good, but does have some minor cosmetic flaws. Great in the rain (and probably snow, never had a chance to try that out). When I bought the car the clear coat was peeling pretty bad so I had the worst panels resprayed -- new paint looks great but the color was not perfectly matched to original. Hard to notice unless you know it’s there (see the pictures). Straight, mostly original car with a great history of frequent oil changes. I have maintenance records back to 10k miles. Zero mechanical issues except what is noted below. Drives great and is very reliable.
This has been a great fun car to own and improve over the last few years and I absolutely love driving it. Makes great power with little turbo lag, firm shocks with stock springs and an upgraded rear swaybar makes it responsive and handle well yet remain streetable and not punishing at all. Everything works as it should and it has been a great, reliable daily driver for me. I have prepped it with the intention of being able to track, autocross, or rallycross it, but I ended up spending my time on other motorsports (ChumpCar) so I have never really driven it in anger.
