This one looks like a gem with the litronic headlamps, full leather, good history, and good maintenance, but more dinero:
http://chattanooga.craigslist.org/cto/3268874322.htmlI would pick this one from all those you listed. You may be able to negotiate it down a bit, but in the grand scheme of things, it's only slightly more expensive, and it appears to have had good care -- for cars like these, one want one where someone has poured money into through its life, given it whatever it needed when it needed it.
To give you an idea of how the 996 market has changed, back in the fall of 2009, Ash Gravely bought a 2004 40th anniversary edition 996 with something around 40k miles for $32k. He's put maybe 30k miles on it since then, and today, he could easily sell the car for well more than he paid for it. It's a special, numbered edition car (1964 models), has X51 engine package, MO3 suspension, etc, etc, so it's the most desirable normally aspirated "normal" 996.
Anyway, inflation (in dollar terms at least) has been working hard on these things the past few years. If you find the right car, buy it, close the deal. I've given up on the 6GT3 thoughts pretty much as the sweet spot seems to have been passed in that market.
Buy the lowest mileage best cared for example you can find, and then be prepared to spend more once you own it of course.

Hey, at least DC Auto is nearby (and a pretty amazing place).
