First I'll confess to not being a "Forum" user before, and as such may be missing the clues as to how to get an update to what's going around without looking into each thread. And, we all know that the subject often changes in the middle of a "thread" without a "topic change".
Old Guy needs help!
Does anyone miss the email digest? Is it still possible to get a daily update, or continuous stream of the topics? Is there any way to check what's going on without looking at each topic?
I would like to scan the positngs much the way it had been.

On the index page (front page) there is a link on the right hand side that says something like "view posts since last visit". That will show you the posts that have been made since the last time you were on the forum..

Here's a direct link to it http://www.4g61t.com/thsccforum/search. ... d=newposts

I have found t helps to learn the color coding of the message icons. If they are that funky yellow it means there's a post or a reply that you've not read yet.

Also get in the habit of clicking the forum links above or below the message tables when you're done reading. Then the server will update the icons to match your current read state. ie: don't use the back button to navigate around the forum.

Jason...

Might be a good idea to post a few "how to survive a forum board" hints in the club discussion to help out or members like Charlie who have been living in a hole for the last several years and haven't managed to make it onto another forum on the web. (Love ya Charlie... mean it...) Maybe an FAQ sticky?
