Jason:

Sorry if I asked you this before, but how do I delete old posts?
I can go into the edit mode and edit my posts buts
its not intitutive how to delete them or, as moderator, delte posts made by others that are obsolete. Should a detete buttom show
up somewhere? I know I have done this before but that was a
long time ago so please be patient.

Thanks
Mark V

Mark,

Moderators are able to delete topics by going to the bottom left corner after opening the topic. There are 4 buttons... X = Delete, arrow = Move, lock = Lock, and torn paper = Split. If you click on the X, the topic should be deleted. (You'll probably get a confirm of some kind before it's *actually* gone.)

For a new thread that you start, the Delete button (an X) will appear next to the "edit" and "quote" buttons on the top left of a post you made. However, if someone has replied to your post, then the delete button is no longer available.

It would make sense if you could delete a post you made in the middle of a longer thread, but that doesn't seem to be allowed unless you're a moderator.

Thanks Diane & Karl:

Duuuuh! I'm not moderator of Swap & Sell, The buttons that show up
in Track Forum did not show up. I did edit my post.

just wanted to delete the Trek Bike for sale post as the bike
was sold, so I changed the Title to SOLD.
