CMP this last weekend - Pictures / Video ?

I noticed that there was a gentleman taking pictures at the start / finish line this weekend at CMP ( and maybe some other places ).

Was he a CMP picture guy or someone else ( club member )? Any idea where the pictures might be for viewing / purchase?

Also, any of the blue group drivers capture video from various sessions? ( or any other video's for that matter )

I took some pictures while working grid, but I think the guy you are talking about is Roger. I briefly spoke to him and he was just a person that happened to by driving by the track on his way home and decided to stop in and take a few pics.

I am not sure if the club had a photographer on site or not. Maybe Brad, Mark, Stacy or Dustin will chime in with that one.

And Stacy and I have some video we are sorting out. We hope to have some stuff posted later. We didn't have an event photographer this time though.

Ok, here is where the show starts getting good. This is the first turn of the first hot lap:

The next lap. We all made some noise on this one. Just shows you how late hard braking is one way to catch someone in the corner. But if it causes you to lose rythm and you mess up mid-corner speed, you will lose ground to the car in front on the way out of the turn.

I have to admit, some of those better shots above were taken by two other people. I can take a decent pic, but the secret is having a good camera and taking a ton of them. A small fraction are bound to turn out well.
