While standing at the driver's meeting at Sebring, I ran into an old club member, Steve Pierce. He still has his black M3 with the Tarheel Track Inspection sticker

He says "Hi" to everyone back in Raleigh.
Sebring is a really different track from the norm up here. No elevation change (Florida) which makes it challenging to set up markers. It is also very bumpy, especially in turns 1 and 17 which are both fairly fast turns. It also is apparently its own microclimate with enough hydrocarbon spewing out to ward off all the rain showers that were all around the track Saturday.
After the warm up laps, I figured I was too old to remember all the 17 turns and 4 miles of track, but once I started the hot laps it actually came together pretty quickly. There was a pretty varied group of cars, from a bunch of Miatas and Porsches as well as a few Vettes, Lotusi and about 3 or 4 Ferraris of various models.
The other good thing, especially for Florida in August was that we get to use the garages so we were always in the shade.
Just thought I'd share, no video to post yet.
