Hurrricane Region PCA event at CMP is still open to all driver levels.

Dates are August 29th and 30th.

For those who are considering doing CMP for the first time with us in October, this could make a nice way to reconnoiter the site! 8)

Coco Strayer, Hurricane Region's Driver Schools Director, has issued a call for both Drivers and Instructors. They run a tight event, with plenty of track time.

Coco needs Instructors as well as students. I'm signed up!
Hope there is a strong contingent from THSCC . Hurricane helps promote our events as well. We do have a long brake before our next event.

It was kind of a tough decision but since I was at CMP not long ago I decided to go to VIR with the Mazda club. Received my confirmation a few days ago. Anyone else going?

OK, I am signed up for Coco's event.

Who else is going? Caravan or setup together?

I'll be with Mazda at VIR. First track day in almost one year. Hopefully I won't win another THSCC burnt piston award!

Great weekend, hot but not as hot as it could have been. Got some good laps in and came home all in one piece. Even got to rib a few PCA "hotshots" in the process.

1:48's and 1:49's with two 1:47s. the best being 1:47:35

the car has 1:46 in it.

with traffic I was 1:50s

the data system was flawless and I am working on the video with dashboard

I lost most of my video but have a great one of Mark and avoiding a spinning NASCAR

Nice. That's nose in the wind and ears back!

What kind of speed did you carry through the kink?

What DAQ are you using?
