I thought s2000s had a few options now like the Mugen Roll Bar, and hard dog.
The Mugen one wouldn't pass our tech. Here's a picture of it - it's kind of a goofy design.

The other popular options - Cusco and Safety 21 - wouldn't work either. The rearward legs are curved.
Hard Dog does now offer one. And, I've seen one, installed, in person. The big problem is that to install it, you need to cut parts of the underbody of the car off. I'm not talking about drilling holes - I'm talking about removing metal. You also lose some seat adjustability and some interior storage space - both of which are already sparse in an S2000.

39. From the rear wheel wells, cut the opening required for the front mount backing plates. The opening should start at the top forward end of the wheel well, ¾" from the vertical rib, and extend inward to the front corner where the front panel forms a corner and transitions to the inside part of the well. The opening should be 1" tall. Be careful not to damage the roof of the box exposed in the opening. This is the floor of the rear of the car.
40. Cut a slot in the top half of vertical sheet metal support exposed in the opening. Use the punched hole in the vertical metal support as a depth and height reference for the cut.
Which, I suppose, is fine - at least there's something available now. But, having cut up a nice, expensive street car once in my life already, I've vowed to never do it again.
