i've heard that the caddy LMP cars were going faster than that (low 1:30's i think) when they were testing at vir many years ago...of course that was testing so no official timing was done...apparently some of the corner workers were timing the laps and leaked the info...

I remember fidning some on VIR's site as well listing the Proto types and LMS cars. The fastest lap was set by someone driving an Benneton F1 car according to Kevin MassyShaw, but those laps were probably timed by the corner workers and not an offical sanctoined event. Chris Ingle's T1
record got spanked by Andrew Aquilante driving this:

Things have been delayed a bit because Scott Lusted had to jet early Sunday due to his wife needing to be admitted to the hospital (pregnant). As far as I know, everything is OK, but Scott does not have the TT laptop to process these things.

We'll make sure him and Rob Harvey get together to make sure everything is proper and upload them as soon as possible.
