Anybody have any sparco roadster II seats? I know they aren't competition but I am wondering if they are a good compromise for a daily driver/track car?

I just found out these seats are at Mark cooper's. Is somebody near there that can go plop down in them and see if they give any more support than a stock seat? It would be much appreciated and give you an excuse to go look at car stuff instead of take out the trash/watch the kids/walk the dog or whatever.

You want someone else to tell you how they sit? One would think that comfort and support is quite subjective. Perhaps you could skip a round of golf and go try them out for yourself? :P

C line I have a Racetech 4000W that I'll sell for 500$ it's very comfortable and is FIA approved so no necessity for the seat back brace. Retails for 750$ won't fit in my C4.

i have seen them. the seat bottom should provide more lateral support but they don't look like they would be as comfortable as the stock seats.

you really need to sit in them yourself Cline. certainly, Dave would suggest just that. 8)

you guys are such a-holes some days.

Jeez you guys can be a bunch of Richards. I just want somebody to say if they think they are comparable to a set of race seats. then I will drive up there and sit my narrow butt in them and see. My premiums are so low I can't afford to drive to the Raleigh from Mayberry if it isn't actually necessary. Bernie, I really want to get two if I am going to do it, also doesn't W stand for Wide?, thinking that may not describe me. Ah haaa IBTL

they resemble race seats Bro. fiberglass back, ports for seatbelts in sides and back, and removable velcro thigh support.

i am quite sure my piddly ass premium will buy fuel for the round trip.

give me a call you can buy lunch. 8)

Mayberry is west of Raleigh. I grew up not far from Mt. Pilot. :D

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Nothing personal! I am sure your parents weren't aware of the crude slang that some people use when they named you.

i just installed a pair in the nsx last night, they replaced recaro pole positons. the roadster 2s are less aggressive than the recaros but are more street friendly (less bolstering) and leather on the edges should make them more durable. they do not have side slots like the recaros but should provide enough support for mild to moderate track use.

you're welcome to swing by to have a sit in both, i'm in north raleigh. i'll be at vir on monday too if you happen to be up there.
