I am, and they are great. And they don't eat the rotors up like a lot of the hawks do.

Compared to Hawks, they're butter to modulate. Much less of an on/off switch feel to them. But if you want to stand the car on its nose...prepare yourself.

The dust is also non-corrosive to your wheels and paint.

I'm using their mildest compound on my street car S2000 Steve. Rotor wear is non-existant and tell you the truth, the pads don't wear much either. They do generate a lot of dust - but I'm not using them at anywhere near their intended temperatures.

OMG dude, trust me (and ask Holton too, he likes them). Go read the links I put up, somewhere in there Bowie Jr. describes how he could late brake Spec Miatas.

In an ITB Golf. At the ARRC.

Would that make it a Maxi Pad?

I got a set from Matt for the Scirocco at Rockingham last summer and they were just awsome. Better yet, it appears they will last out the season for me.
They have the most temp latitude of any pad I tried to date, which
is great for the Time Trial when trying to set a fast lap early in the session,
or tracks like Rockingham when the brakes can get over-cooled on the
long streight's and banking. I recently got set for the Corvette and they work just as well in heavy vehicles.

Overall, I notice a smoother initial bite than
the Hawk HT10, but the same very high & consistant bite. Initial wear rate appears to be low-so they should be a good cost effective
pad for HPDE's when you are carrying a passanger. Like the Hawk they,
are bonded and fused into the backing plate- no rivets or fragmentation
issues, like some other pads I have used. Since Hawk does not make
the DTC70 for the Scirocco-it's the best pad I can get right now.

I ran their PR1 compound and got 5 events out of them, which was 2 more than I got from the Hawks. In my case the best thing is they place nice with other pads when you switch back and forth from street to race pads. They don't leave deposits behind that cause that terrible shudder.

However anyone considering their street/track combo pad should talk to Stephen first.

I still like them quite a lot. The one downside, as I've mentioned, is that they generate an impossible amount of dust. Even just using the CCWs (which are polished aluminum) for autocross purposes, I've got my work cut out for me keeping the wheels clean.

Stephen only got two weekends from his and his car weighs like 2600 lbs. For the price I don't think he was pleased.

I should restate something. I'm using the CR compound on a street car, mostly for autocrossing. I've never put the S2000 on a track. The dusting is from street use and autocross use.

The amount of dust those pads lay down on a perfectly clean set of wheels after 10 autocross runs is astonishing. But for my purposes (using the dark colored wheels as street wheels now), they're brilliant.
