The video's take forever to load, but it looks like you have a great camera mount.

"If you can't say anything nice"?

Google video does drag a bit sometimes - I'll have to post some non-epic-length segments on YouTube.

Camera mount is a CruiseCam mounted on a back headrest - up for sale when I finally get a rollbar, BTW.

Never said the video I have seen so far wasn't good. I just haven't gotten through them yet.

:D

But the quality of what I have watched looks great.

Did I see Jake (blue Mustang) give you a point after Oak Tree and then proceed to drop the hammer? If so that's not so nice...

I did twitch my right hand - maybe he saw it as a wave-off  ?

Edit - on further review, more than a twitch.

It looked like a classic case of Pony envy.

What's a fast lap around south course these days?

in hind sight it WAS more of a twitch...

many apoligies my friend, if I held you up, or messed up your session.

Great camera work, I now have something I can send back to Maine to prove that my 21 year old lead sled is still running good.

No worries 8) - I was having a blast out there. If I was sick of it all I had to do was drop back or scoot into the pits.

If you're interested, I can get you the full session on a DVD so you can watch your lines.

That would be GREAT... let me know if you need any $$$ to make it happen...

I felt that I compressed my breaking zones a bit more in the afternoon, plus I didn't have a passenger, so the car was quicker but got upset easier... overall I had as much fun that day than I can ever remember... it’s what heaven must be about.. :D

I was able to clock around 180 miles of track time for an average of around 110 total laps. AND yes I feel like I stopped pinching off oak tree by the end of the day. TRACK OUT, TRACK OUT!!!!

I can't wait to see what this seat time will gain me for the full course event in May!!!!

No idea!!

Pretty sure a good lap is still in the 1:20 range give or take 10 seconds depending on car

How's that for vague?

Pretty vague :D

Best I ever managed there in the old GS-R was a 1:23.3. I've still got that one on video somewhere, that one was a keeper.

What's wrong with keeping it tight?

I think he's talking about the exit/track out... opening the wheel, letting the car track out and being able to get all the power down.

As far as curb hopping... those curbs around oak tree are pretty substantial and will kick you off your desired path if you hit them just right
