hi im new to thscc, although a 34 year member of emra. also belong to nasa and scca. quick question. i had new race car teched at summit point by emra for nov. sprint races. because of my location 04 tech will not happen til spring. will this be accepted by thscc for the feb vir event? log book was issued 11/23/03. thanks and looking foward to meeting you other fans of the cold at vir.

Gary,

I'm in the same boat. My car was tech'd late last October. I spoke to Mark V. about this and he indicated that they will honor techs performed in the latter part of 2003.

From Mark V:

Because our first event is so early in the year, we will accept 2003 log book tech stamp for The FEB event. We will want to see a 2004 tech stamp in the log book starting with the APRIL or our Annual Tech done.

thanks mark, i appreciate that. i was hoping that would be the case as the car was only teched and log booked less than two months ago. looking foward to meeting you guys and gals. i have heard good things from several people. can never know too many track rats.

Welcome to THSCC. I got the bug to start the TT series after
doing an EMRA TT at Bridehampton in 1995, but our format
evolved differently as a step up series to our HPDE program.
