Had a blast running VIR Full for the first time -

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4512366871610874285&hl=en

Thanks again to VK for excellent instruction - got video of him giving it full stick in Red group 8) , just waiting for Google video to stop choking on the 250mb+ file!

Planning on making the trip back in Feb for THZ/THSCC :D .

Here's my first try at video publishing. I used a Sony DCR-HC20 MiniDV. Got it used from Ebay. Chose the older model so I had remote on/record/off control with a LANC swith stuck on the dash. This was also my first time out with the traqmate.

Yup, that's a MiniVan out there. The Shelby GT500's seem to be great handling vehicles right out of the box. This one I could keep up with. There was a black one I gave a point by to and was gone in 2 turns.

Here's another one. It's one of the quicker laps I was able to record over the weekend.

It turns out I was 6 seconds quicker this past weekend than when I TT'd in Feb. Amazing. I know I'm still leaving quite a bit of time on the table. I think 2:19's are quite doable.

Yeah, it was a 2:21.496. The fastest I turned over the weekend was a 2:21.206.

And that was giving up some exiting T3 and all of T4 passing a slower car... you got any segment times for that section... if you do, you could estimate what it coulda been...
