Yeah , but they haven't dropped yet.

Be careful, Gwen owns a kennel. She is used to cutting them BEFORE they drop!

As stated in the other thread...

Now that the 2003 models have dropped below the Magical $20K mark, I think you will see quite a few out there. Many are surprised how well balanced the car is despite it's weight. At Roebling Road this past event, there were several running 2:24-2:25 almost stock. The only real thing I have seen are the brakes, even the Brembos are just OK, but many of the aftermarket ones like APS or Stoptech make the car break amazingly.

prices have really come down:

If you're going to drop $20k on a track car, get this and start lapping the 350z's. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/car/380453256.html $20,500

Or if you want to spend half as much for the same speed potential as the 350z: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/car/378260507.html $11,900

Mike,
The 350Zs are pretty good, and your buying a much newer vehicle. I am sure once the reach the same vintage as the BMW's, they will be less expensive. And if you look around, you can get a 2003 Z for under $15k.

If you want to see how they are doing, take a look at how the GT cars are fairing this year, plus they are doing very well at the national level for Time attacks and club racing. They are just too heavy to be competitive in BSP for AutoX.

Oh yeah, and now that I'm a "Corvette Guy" I suppose I should be recommending something like this for your $20K.

we have tried that angle Les. only thing i hear about e46's is the bottom end is maybe suspect should it take a flogging on a regular basis. e36 M3 is pretty much bullet proof by most opinions, still think Cline needs a P-car. 1999 996's can be had for 35k or less.http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=22&pageNumber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&criteria=K-%7CE-ALL%7CM-_41_%7CH-%7CD-_386_%7CN-N%7CR-100%7CI-1%7CP-PRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CY-_1999_%7CX-popular%7CZ-27501&aff=national&paId=228050690&recnum=1&leadExists=true

Neuticles allowing your pet to retain his natural look, self esteem and aids in the trauma associated with neutering.

Should I get breast implants for my female dachsund who has been spayed? I certainly don't want her self esteem to suffer.

What I really want to know is what would possess Wes to google this?

Well I have made a decision just closed the deal.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-Min ... dZViewItem

I have been talking to the owner for a couple of days, he rides Triumphs and Ducatis. I think he is along lost brother of mine. Through in a lot of other stuff, thankfully the originall tail lights.

The 350z just is so impractical, no room for golf clubs, would have to trailer, Would probably have to be made king of the Z club, yada yada. The m3 was a consideration all along but I really need to keep the mini. I always said I would never get rid of it, it would sit in front of my office when I finally got tired of it. Talk about neuticles and self image, my business image is really tied to it. May be if I insure a few more tarheelers I can get an m3 to devote to the track!

Now I have got to get all my mods done. I went and got the tires, engine dampner, harness connections, brand new wires and plugs out of my old mini. IT IS TOAST. You can look down and see about 4 inches between the engine and firewall, I am not even sure how it did that, I guess the bottom engine mount is broken. The engine is also shoved to the left. the unibody is pushed out and rubbing the lright wheel and the roof is bent. I have state farm getting back to me with a quote on the salvage, still might buy it for spares.

Thanks for all the input and education on testical transplants. Next time I tell somebody to buy a pair I have a website to refer them to!
