....Motorsports Director for BHP Brakes.

It will be slim pickings for pad choices this year from us I'm afraid. I hope to have some amount of pads for the really popular cars (BMWs, C4s, C5s, C6s, Wreck Pinatas) by the end of the summer.

How much from scratch am I starting? Right now I have a pallet of Prospeed GS610 brake fluid to sell, and that's it.....

See you guys at CMP. Maybe....

Don't forget to make a great set of pads for the Legends cars :)

While you are at it, make sure it's for a heat range that is much higher than the Legends guys would ever need.

Congrats Matt. It's nice to have you back in the "vendor I can trust" category again. Best of luck. Make some track pads for 944 turbo/944 S2 brakes, and I'm there.

Unfortunately, you are using a material that is discontinued. That was a high-perf. street material that was very expensive and sold poorly becuase no one wanted to pay $200 for a street pad. Shocking, I know.

The new formulations are race-only (I'm going to see how "streetable" they are) and are derivations of the NASCAR and Champ Car formulations the owner developed in the late 90s.

Scott, don't hold your breath.

Tom, you can count on it. Eventually. The owner is a semi Porsche-freak.

I dare you to make some pads that will stop my old Mustang. :D

"Deceleration Defined" Whoa Nelly, that's some slogan!

Good luck in the new job!

Any chance of selling those excellent, cheap ass rotors at the new job?

I'll take that dare. I plan to eventually get that pad since it's also the spec pad for the Factory Five racing series. There's lots of those cars.

Not right away, but perhaps in the future.

I was going to say that using 11" front brakes to retard a track car is .. um.. not wise. But I took a look at http://www.ffrchallenge.com/specs.html and I guess if the car weighs less then 2500 lbs and has a 46/54 F/R weight ratio, it should work OK. Are they using stock '87-'93 single 60mm piston calipers?

A track compound you can drive on the street...(for the Miata, not the 350)
