You always have full course on the weekend closest to my anniversary. Last year I had to pop for a cruise to make it happen and then got snowed out.

Cline, I feel your pain. I'm skipping VIR-F this year per my wife's request to actually be at home for her birthday for once. If your interested, there's a NASA school at VIR-F a couple of weeks later. I'll likely be at that one.

Woohoo! I missed that track. I think I'll try to do that one.

Don't worry Matt... knew you wouldn't be there. But it was that, or December... and I think early August is the lesser of the two evils. At least this way, maybe we'll catch a few people who aren't done for the season. Our fear in Dec was that no one would come because all of their track budget was spent.

And the last time we were there it wasn't too bad.

At least this year VIR-F isn't on valentine's day.

I've got you all beat. Child #2 is due on Feb 14th and I have already started working on Kendra so I can go to VIR four days before the due date.

"I promise I'll have the phone with me in the car on track." Talk about a distraction. Hopefully it won't ring in the uphill esses.

I may be there ONLY BECAUSE IT'S YOU GUYS!!!!

I seriously would not willingly go to CMP in August for ANY OTHER ORGANIZATION. The PCA event I flagged in Aug 99 scarred me for life I tell you....

All I gotta say is... Ya'll folks definitely need to git yer priorities straight... anniversaries, b'days, holidays, yadda... yadda... yadda... them things can be 're-scheduled' far as the celebrating goes... tracking can't... hell, it's jes another date on the calendar, same as any other date... sheeesh... ;)

Reckon that's why my Sons' Mother and I went separate ways... she didn't give a rat's arse 'bout rac'n... I didn't give a rat's arse 'bout 'special' days... particularly holidays, excepting that about half the IMSA races were on those dates... now that made 'um 'special'... think she made it to a race maybe once... no never mind though, I had a 'race wife' what took care of that... ;)

Let the flames commence... got me triple layer Nomex buttoned up real tight... 'specially from the distaff folks what run across this discourse on some ah us male reprobate types, and whose disdain will surely peg the scorn meter... ;)

Steve 'rac'n... the drug you can't buy' Coleman

PS: I will also 2nd the thumbs down on August at CMP... I remember thinking when we were down there, after having spent a couple really hot days at RR over the years, which at least has some trees for shade, that there's no way anyone in their right mind would do an event there from June thru August... I was hoping to use them dates for some planned ventures to Mid-O, The Glen and LR next year...
