John, good drive! I'd only add...shuffle steer.

Yes indeed seeing turn 4 was difficult but I found the worst part was not being able to see into NASCAR 1 from the front straight. The front straight was in the sun and the turn was not. the first 3 laps of so I did a BIG lift just to see the track after turn in. After that I said what the h^&k and just kept my foot to the floor and hoped I lived through it. The transition was brutal.

What I looked for for turn 4 was the turn in cone which I could just make out. The track out of turn 3 was also difficult and I know I left time there Saturday (of course I left oil there Sunday!!) as I just could not see the edge of the track so had to wait to get full throttle.

I think either bump up the time a little or delay it half an hour or so until the sun is completely behind the stands. Or send everyone whose not running the TT up there with cardboard boxes to block the sun!

It sure was a fun weekend! Thanks to all that made it so.

R

Is that you getting pwn'd in the begining of that video? :)

Nope, its called John ran a 1:10 the day before and I ran 1:14 in the TT and I wanted him the hell away from me. I didnt wanna hold him up.

He didn't leave me. I kept Jim and John in sight the whole run.

Bah! I don't think you really want me talking smack to you in the motorsport activity in which I do run with you in the same car. That would just be mean. Where are those Laurinburg results again???

You need me to line the way to the autocross forum with some cones so you can find your way back?

Isn't that like punching a retarded kid? It's easy to do but nothing to be proud of.

All told... he took (kept) about 1400 shots... for his first time shooting at Rockingham, I was very pleased. I can't wait to see what he does with our events at VIR and other places he's been to. Here are a couple more of his from this year's Runoffs:
