Hey guys... if you haven't already, email Mark (in my post above) tell him what car you were (and number) and he'll send you some low-res pics (like the ones of John above).

I just got my pics from Mark, and they do look good. $125.00 for a CD though...not *that* good.

I may order a high-res pic from him when I decide which one.

Yeah... thats a little pricey... but when you consider he shot almost 1500 pics over the course of the weekend... you'll get a lot of pics. Problem is, many of them will be the same shot. But so far, I'm very please with what I'm seeing from his stuff.

That is pricey. The guy that shot pics at the April event at VIR charged me $45 for a CD with about 50 pics on it. They were all hi res and some really nice shots. He was all over the track. Even caught me doing a rally impression at T1 and took about 10 pics back to back. Caught the whole oops on camera...

revised pricing:

Quote:
Pricing for a high res CD of all your pics is $75 shipped. Individuals are still $10 per pic. The files are 3-5mb shoot with a 10 megapixel Nikon D200.

Jim I didn't get to hang out in the paddock much so had no idea your Dad was there. Glad he had a fun time.

Love the video. Next time there remind me and I'll share a hint about turn 3. Or go re-read Matt's postings as he and I take very similar lines.

And I agree with whoever said it, the car sounds great!!

Here is a videofrom Sunday's TT.

Came in from the TT to discover all four V710's were corded :o They overheated in session 3 and when that 3400 lb beast starts to slide, the tires have no hope against the Rockingham surface.

CMC...here I come :-)

Jim,
here's a Video of you from behind...

BTW Ron, My dad said you did a great job and you helped put together what his instructor (thanks Jeff) was saying and what was happening on track. being his first time on track ever, and at 65, he learned quite a bit. I think he will be back VERY soon. I heard he asked quite a bit in class.

;)

Wow...

That sun is BRUTAL!! Bill Kuiper was saying that was why he went off turn four during both time trials... and I can see why now.

I'm already planning to bump up the schedule for Nov '07 to hopefully combat that issue.

Yes, you couldn't see a thing for turn 4. It was a best guess situation on Saturday, and a little better on Sunday with the delay.

On Saturday you couldn't see anything right after track out for 3. I had a spiritual experience on the first hot lap.

Running the 2nd heat on Saturday was bad in NASCAR One and T4. Even with sunglasses and the visor I was blind.

Sunday's delay helped my vision a great deal, but not my lap times. :(
