So, what is a good lap time for north course?

Specifically, a good ITA/CSP lap time.

No, it is not going to rain!

I think the fastest I ever went there in the GS-R was a high 1:42.something. That was via stopwatch, not transponder, but had it been on the transponder, I'm pretty sure it would have been the H3 track record by a second and a half. Must've had a good draft. As you know this was in basically an impossibly underweight ITS Integra on 225 Hoosiers.

Lap times might be lower than they once were since they dumbed down the North Course crossover? I think it can be done flat in darn near anything at this point.

The Goblin's Go SARRC/ECR weekend in 2004 was on the North Course. I think Wilding did a 1:47 in an SM in qual for one of the races. That would have been with the old tire rules I think, so probably done on Toyos. Dont recall how the weather was ....

I dont think there was much of an ITA class there that w/e.

According to the NCR SCCA results archive, the only time I raced there (June of 2002) I turned a 1:35.724!!!!!!!!!!! I will go ahead and assume that is wrong, and guesstimate that I did about a 43 or thereabouts from looking at the times of the people ahead and behind me. (Although I did beat ITS that day, no one good showed up.)

They have straightened out that last part of the crossover since then, and my car is a bit faster now, so I guess I will shoot for high 41s or low 42s this weekend, provided the weather is nice.

Bowie if you turned a 1:35 all I can say is YOU ARE THE MAN!!!

Looking back in my log book in 03 running the Civic with NASA I turned a 1:49. Rhodes turned a 1:48 . I expect that in the CRX with the new final drive I should be in the range you mentioned: 1:44, 1:43 or so. Certainly the new tires should get me 1 or 2 seconds easy and the final drive the rest.
