I've got a copy from someone else's laps (CRX Si) earlier this year.

Vincent,

What format would that be? As you say "copy" I imagine it's not computer friendly?!

Cheers, Mark

Edit: It's a Windows media file format...19.2 Megs.

Sorry....but I just saw the post. I've got about 1.5 hrs of video from the June event. Even includes all the audio between my instructor (Al Taylor) and myself. If you still need it, let me know.......

Thanks for the info. - ended up just viewing the in-car video on this website. I must admit that coming through the tunnel and seeing the banking for the first time was quite awe-inspiring. I have some decent footage and can post as soon as I get my firewire figured out........

The SCCA were approached by Rockingham to have a test day and evaluate the possibility of using it as another race venue for 2006. Looks like that may happen.

Loadsa track time - only about 14 cars present. I was seeing about 5200 rpm in 5th gear before hitting turn 1 , and found the exit of turn 2 interesting and you seem to get sucked right up to the wall.......I tried not to look at the wall, but could have sworn that I was inches away from grazing the side mirror! The spec miata got down to a 1:11.....on Hoosiers.....Toyos were about 2 seconds slower....and were well and truely corded by the end of the day.

It is a fun venue and recommended. Having pit space in the NASCAR garages was totally luxury.

Cheers, Mark
