You're not kidding!

I honestly don't even remember seeing your car in the entire ordeal. Just the Z in front of me, then the Z in front of me again after 360 degrees...

So, someone put down some fluid? That'll do it every time.

As for the brake check, damn striaght I do that. 120 mph at marker #3 is not my idea of the appropriot time to find out no ones home. If I know at marker # 6 I have no brakes, I have an extra 200-300 feet to think of something....

this kinda sounds like what happened to me at the entrance to rollercoaster at VIR full a few weekends ago. I have bobcats on the rear, and panther plus on the front. I figured out that with my ABS fuse unplugged, the rears lock way before the fronts when the fuse is pulled, and the ABS usually keeps that under control. Too bad I had just pulled the fuse. I went farming as well, just backwards, thankfully. Perhaps you hadn't given your brakes enough time to heat up, and your rears locked way before your fronts, causing you to lose traction with slight steering input? Just my 2c.

Downshift to engine brake (or brake) and pucker up

This past time at VIR Full, I had brake failure at the end of the backstraight. Fluid was leaking out past the over-extended caliper piston which had conveniently welded itself to the backing plate, which, much to my dismay, was holding on to very little friction material. I did pretty much what Wes said. Lots of rev-limiter assited braking (non-interference engines are a wonderful thing), pumping of the pedal (rear brakes still trying to work) and looking for a safe way to go off.

I have also had a piece of a rear shoe delaminate from the frame, spin inside the drum and chop the wheel cyinder seal while going into Oak Tree. That was trickier because the fluid was on the rear tire and the car steadfastly refused to go straight. So again, it was rev-limiter assited braking, looking for a way out and taking a line that scrubbed a lot of speed through the corner.

Moral of the story is, as the Guide says: DON'T PANIC! Long braking zones from high speeds give you a lot of time to do something. I made it out of both mine having just run my heart rate and motor at a little higher speed than usual.
