The rest of the team has bailed, so it's down to just me.

I was going to do this to get some seat time before the July LeMons race. I could use some help driving the tow rig (35' Winnebago) and generally setting up and tearing town the paddock.

Car is a '94 Honda Civic.

Cost is $150 to Chin to share the Solo session plus Chin Motorsports registration. That's three hours of track time per day, so we'd each get 1.5 hours on track/day. I'd also want help with the tow rig gas and $75 for tires/brakes.

Only Solo (Blue group) slots are available, so no novices.

If I don't know you, then I'll need references. I'd really like an advanced Blue or higher level driver who will respect my car and not tear it up.

This would be a great opportunity for LeMons racers to see the track before they race there.

Bowling Green is quite a haul for an HPDE. You don't think there will be a test session on Friday like we had at Barber?

There probably will be a Friday session, but I kind of wanted to do something between the THSCC VIR weekend and the CMP LeMons race.

Long road trips in the RV aren't bad; it's nice to be able to stop every few hours and hang out, make a sandwich, take a nap, etc.

Kind of a weird place, like a 3.2 mile go-kart track. Probably a good track for the National Miata Museum. Facilities are great though, and fun to drive with pretty good runoff room in most places. I love T7, and the exit of the sinkhole is pretty awesome in a FWD car. I'd point Corvettes and Porsches by in T20 and then outrun them to the front straight because they won't get on throttle.

After 4.5 hours my tires were worn significantly and my wheel bearings were making an alarming racket, so I called it a day halfway through day 2. You spend a lot of time with your suspension really loaded up there, so make sure that your bearings/bushings are in good shape.

I learned that a new Jaguar F-type is a very badass car, and that a Porsche Panamera has a little 3-part gadget that looks very cool when it smoothly rises up out of the back of it and unfolds itself into a wing. The rest of the car is an abomination, but the little wing on the back of it is very neat.

Here's a video of a 52-minute session, probably the only exciting bit is around 25:45, but if you want to see what a lap looks like, this was at the end of the day on Saturday and I was mostly doing it right by that point:
