As a VIR n00b and my first HPDE with THSCC I just wanted to say thank you for a well organized and executed event.

I have to say I really really enjoyed Grand course. Wife and I snapped a few pics, and she was kind enough to shoot some video on her phone.

Glad you had a great time! How did the car do Brett?

Car was absolutely solid. Had Norbert as my instructor and from what I hear he's a bit of a legend with the other instructors. I think he was feeling me out day 1, but on Sunday we were meshing really well. He got me to do a lot more left foot braking than I have been previously, which was interesting. The biggest thing I learned was how to properly trail brake turn 1, 4 and 18 to keep the front end planted in the turn without losing too much momentum.
