I was thinking they'd kick us to A for about 3 races, but 2 would be nice. It's not like we were particularly fast. After going through the numbers, we had the 14th fastest single lap speed out of 26 cars and the 12th fastest average lap speed, so right around mid-pack. All of our sessions were also less than 2 hours long, with the exception of the first session on Sunday morning, when we took it a little easy so we could do that session without a stop. We just didn't screw up or blow up, and we had reasonably quick pit stops.

Of course there is also the Class C project car abomination in the back of the shop gathering dust. I may try and get that ready for the next race and go for Class C/IOE glory.

Hey Duff Guys, it was nice seeing you again at the race! I'm in Raleigh now, started the new job this week. I'm hoping to make it to the RallyX on the 27th, although it looks like I'll probably be driving my daily driver '13 Civic Si for it since getting the currently non street legal '92 Civic RallyX there without a tow vehicle is logistically challenging hah.

Congrats on a well deserved win! One of these days we'll keep my Contour/Mustang running well enough to win class B. Two times coming in 2nd in B (once behind our friends from Knoxville in the Corona Mercedes, once behind our own Geo Metro) and twice leading B class for 2/3rd's of the race only to blow up on Sunday afternoon have me really hungry for it hah.

Yeah, you guys will win B one of these days. We figured you'd have to get kicked to A before we'd win B. You were about 10s/lap faster than us, so whenever the bugs get worked out, you should dominate.

I want to take the Sentra to VIR so I can rallycross it, but I'm instructing at the HPDE that weekend, so I probably won't have time to get over there and hoon around in the dirt.
