I thought I'd start a thread so the H&T writers will know which actual THSCC members are racing this weekend at CMP. :wink:

I'm not listing team members who are not current THSCC members, if I left you out, please chime in.

Lee Ho Fook didn't blow job and completed the race.

Team SWB had tire issues Saturday causing us to have two offs with subsequent visits to the penalty box. Prior to that, we were running in 8th place. Note to self...don't start a race at CMP on used BFG Rivals.

Sunday we got our tire issues worked out and we drove clean and we able to bring it home with a 12th place finish.

The car ran great all weekend, with no real mechanical issues. Not turning wrenches during a race makes it a lot more fun. A bonus was the weather was gorgeous, and all of us had a good time.

The SilverBullets team also struggled with tires on Saturday and a couple visits to the penalty box. We started almost at the very back, ran as high as 9th and finished 19th.

No wrenching on the car except brake pads. Like VK said, awesome weather! I hadn't been to CMP since 2013 - great track and real fun racing! The bonus was hanging out with all the gearheads from the triangle - good times!

Tire issues on Saturday, trip to the penalty box for spinning, blew a head gasket 40 minutes before the end of the race, 20th place overall, 6th in class.

Why does Race Monitor show the Mustang winning?

Racemonitor was pretty frustrating on Sunday morning not working for a good 45 minutes after the start of the day. Paying for that app still annoys me. - AB

Lee Ho Fook's had a successful (mostly) weekend. Started 7 penalty laps down even though the E46 pitted next to us had zero laps. The new Judge is a fargin icehole, he doesn't treat us very well.

We were up to 17th Saturday evening but suffered Sunday from a couple of issues. Got black flagged for contact and while in the pits the radiator cap cracked and the car puked fluid on the ground. Swapped radiator caps, added water and went back out only to come back in for more water. Lost quite a few laps there and then with about an hour left the clutch started slipping terribly so we had to limp it home. Finished 27th I believe.
