I'll +1 you on the smooth braking application. I need a decent amount of work on my braking technique seeing how I 90 degree'd it a few times going into T11; it's not exactly confidence inspiring coming off one of the fastest parts of the track.

Rich Anderson shared some information that I plan on trying to execute next year, he mentioned that the best thing he had ever done for his driving was to basically live at VIR on the weekends for a few months. I think he said he did 6 weekends out of an 8 week period, and not having the months of downtime gave him the opportunity to improve his driving dramatically. He also hinted at some "Exciting Exercises" and being the classroom instructor for Blue group in September.

I have to laugh at that. It is all too true. Fear is the reason neither I nor Roger will go through the kink at full speed (~100) anymore. I went off straight into the grass; his off was "oh shit" sideways. My foot starts coming up off the gas as I approach 90, and back to the floor as I enter T10. The problem with going through there at 100+ is there's no power left to get you out of any trouble -- top speed (in 4th) is 110.
