I guess I should add mine, as well:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_0HbWOrmKMOutside of me getting stopped up near the end (there's no gesticulations, I promise), the highlight of this session was the brake check by the E46 between T5 and T5a @ 3:20ish in the video.
Nice driving Andrew, but your finger gesture in T17 was less than sportsman like.
I'm pretty sure I had some flailing of arms on Saturday while behind some cars that seemed to forget they were at a road course, not a 1/4 mi dragstrip. What I don't get though is that the people that hold me up almost never come and ask about what happened. Whenever I feel like I may have held someone up I always go and find them in the paddock and make sure I didn't, so if I did know that I need to be more generous with signals in the future. After one session I ended up talking to 2 people who I knew were faster than me and were behind me for a few laps before they passed. One was feeling a bit sick and was holding back, the other was working on LFB. Also, ouch that they had no problem keeping up while driving conservatively.
But really awesome event. Weather was perfect, track was near perfect. Only one incident affected blue group and I want to say extra time was tacked onto the end of the run to make up for it. And I can say, for the first time since 2012, that I was out for every session in a weekend for the whole session.
And I made it into the 1:49s, last time I was at VIR-N I was ~1:56 iirc. It was nice to have a lot of time in an event to really get back in the swing and find some of the terrible things I'm doing.
