in case anyone is interested... i've started a new spec race class based on the e46 330 platform called spec e46. it'll be a higher price point than spec e30 or spec3 but will also be substantially "better" cars - newer, higher end suspension, better diff, more aggressive minimum weight. at first i wasn't sure if it was going to catch on but this week it has blown up and is getting a ton of interest. bimmerworld is behind it 100% and we're hoping for contingencies from performance friction, epic, diffsonline, and motion control suspension (plus tires but that hasn't been decided upon yet). nasa ma, se, and fl regions have all said they will support it at a regional level, and we're working on the northeast and california guys. should also cross over into bmwcca, and can run nasa gts in the interim.
