I signed up to instruct my youngest daughter at the September VIR event. I also signed up to Time Trial my Vette. What is the format now? I heard it was during lunchtime instead of at the end of the day. What sessions are available for laying down baseline times?

And what kind of times are the faster cars laying down now? Need to figure out if I want to kick some sand out of the sandbox or play nicely in the corner.

Kevin, you need to lay off the strong coffee! How else could your finger shake so bad as to post the same thing three times!

Kevin, results are on the website - might be able to extract some answers there:

http://thscc.com/timetrial/results.htm

We have been running TT at lunchtime, so the first couple sessions in the day in White and Red tend to be fairly "fast" while folks work to get times laid in.

Thanks, Dustin. Seeing the results helped. ;)

As an instructor, you can go out in any morning group to set a time. Or guess where you should be. :-)

Well, made some changes to the car in preparation of MAJOR changes later this Fall. I will be more inclined to "shake down" the car this weekend than an all out Time Trial lap. I am racing at Watkins Glen in a couple of weeks and I will be saving the car for then.

Look forward to seeing the THSCC crew. It has been over two years since I was at VIR in the Z06 and it seems longer than that since I was at a Tarheel event. :sing:
