I can't remember the hotel or if there's a discount rate at the hotel.

We are staying at the Comfort Inn in Camden, but I'm pretty sure they are booked as they only had two rooms left when I booked over a month ago. The Holiday Inn across the street would be my second choice. You do NOT want to stay at "The Executioner" in Kershaw.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and the Colony Inn. If I wasn't sleeping on the bus, then I'd stay at the Holiday Inn Express, nice rooms and an okay breakfast. My room at the Colony Inn was tiny and smelled funny (not "ha ha" funny, the other funny), but it was cheap.

We have stayed at the sketchy place in Kershaw. When you remember the price, its really not that bad. Just 30 years old but at least the one room we stayed in was clean...

We've stayed in Kershaw numerous times. No, you won't ever confuse it for a Hampton Inn, but for something in the neighborhood of $50, it leaves a lot of budget to stock the cooler with frosty beverages, which helps you forget about any issues with the accommodations. We did say at one point that we wouldn't bring the kid back to stay there as it's just not quite good enough for that, but as a place to crash, it fits the bill, cheaply, and is close to the track. For what it's worth, I do actually think it's improved a little over the years.
