Grim Reaper Racing will be at the Lemon's Summit Point race 15-16 June 2013. Anybody else going up or everybody going to CMP for the HPDE?

I'll be at the THSCC HPDE at CMP. Our Prelude's B20A is still in pieces right now, but we are hoping to have it back together for Lemons at CMP in September.

Good luck to you guys at Summit Point!

Thanks. Have fun at CMP. I was hoping the HPDE and Lemons race were not on the same weekend so I could do both.

Good Luck at Charlotte. Not sure if we'll do any more Chump events. Having a hard time getting through the 68 page rule book and we only have a V-6 Mustang....

They sweat a team with a V-6 Mustang and yet a team with an E36 sails right through. :stick:

Yea, they clipped us one penalty lap for having the strut tower brace on the V-6 (not stock) to keep from cracking the windshield. It came stock on the v-8 cars. Next race I told them I took a V-8 car and put a V-6 in it so I would not get clipped again for the strut tower brace and the 8.8" rear end and stiffer springs and it sailed through.

The Duff car will be at CMP with three drivers. Yesterday I took the transmission apart and figured out where the guy that built it screwed up. He put the 5th gear slider on upside-down and the differential shim on the wrong side of the diff, shimming the ring gear bolts right into 1st gear. That would explain the transmission wonkiness at the last few events. Hopefully it will shift and drive better now. That's what I get for paying someone to work on something. On the bright side, I finally got the process of rebuilding a Honda transmission down.

That's what you get for paying who you did to work on it. And that was some of the problems... bad clutch master was the other part.

We've only done one Chump so far, and even that has taught me the importance of the Art of Lying(TM) on your tech forms. Nobody tells them the truth.
