Seriously, that is a slick job. May I suggest a clear lexan spoiler, maybe 3" or 4" tall? You know, to prevent lift at 140 mph. You could rivet it directly to the back edge of the trunk lid.

Sweet! What thickness Lexan did you use?


1/8" thick. I wouldn't say it bends 'easily', but with two people and a little leverage, it wasn't too difficult to work with.

Having done some fabrication work myself, I can appreciate how much time and effort went into that hatch. Looks like a beautifully executed design. I just hope it didn't take time away from other things like checking breather lines before your race.
