SO the Forza I have ordered should still be ok, but I need to start looking for a brace.

Contact the guys at Corbeau and see what they say about how to mount it. I looked at my seats last night (for about 1 minute, got home pretty late) and decided that they have to be smoking some crack if you are to mount a standard seatback brace (as pictured above) to that nut as described. The horizontal bar would interfere with the shoulder harnesses. I'm going to try and call them when I get home tonight and have the seat in front of me.

So again do any of you see a problem with the setup I'll be using? I should have it installed this weekend. I'll post pics when I do.

OK,
I just talked to someone who gave me the scoop on the Corbeaus, Sparco's, and Momo's FIA approval removal.

When the initial testing was done, each of the Companies shipped the seats with an optional Steel brace along the back. These seats had no problems with the testing. On the next round of testing though, FIA went out and bought the seats directly from the retailers. The bought seats did not come standard with the optional brace, so FIA repealed the approval.

Sparco, Cobra, Corbeau and Momo have now added the brace to the higher end seats and had their FIA re-instated. For the Entry seats Corbeau has added a steel mount to the back of the seat so that either the brace can be added, or the seat can be braced to a cage or rollbar. With the Additional piece, the Corbeaus pass FIA.

Doesn't your seat back already touch the rear bulkhead? If so it can't travel any further backwards in a crash so no brace would be needed right? Besides it would be REALLY short.

I am not interested in adding a back brace to my Frozas but can you link to the other option that Corbeau mentioned?

Here's my setup with stock seats installed on my Z-24. The only thing missing is the pin which I didn't have time to install last night.
