It is this

For all Single-7 or Single-8 hour events: $500. Includes car entry and two (2) drivers. that's a net win for teams with only 2 <$200> drivers
For all Double-7, Single-12 and/or Single-14 hour events: $1,000. Includes car entry and four (4) Drivers that's $100 increase
For all events between 15 and 25 hours: $1,200. Includes car entry and four (4) drivers. that's a $300 increase

Its also damned complicated

I was reading that they might require the bulb to match the housing it was originally designed for...

What do you mean exactly? Here's how the lighting situation unfolded for us.

The first night race we ran Chump Car on VIR-S for 24 hours with two stock headlights and two 55W driving lights below the bumper. It was like driving at 100MPH with a flashlight!

Our next night race was at PBIR with Lemons and the track was lit so we didn't need lights. That rocked BTW.

The third race was on VIR-S + VIR-F with four Hella 500s converted to HID. On my first lap (even with the MUCH better lighting) I went off in T1. The next lap I was off in T3. After an 1.5 hours into my 2 hour stint the solution hit me. I was being blinded from behind by my own mirrors! I moved all the mirrors and drove great for the remaining half hour.

The fourth race at VIR-N I knew the mirror trick already so I was good no matter what lighting the car behind me had. Ditto for the 5th race on VIR-G.

IOW, all this complaining about cars with lights that are too bright is a moot point if you just re-aim your mirrors.

VIR-S 10 hour race. $700 for two drivers, $50 for each additional driver. Hmmmmnnnn........

More rules equals more rules to ignore. As many said on the chump forums (and were deleted)... there are existing rules covering all the BS that happened at VIR; they just didn't enforce any of them.

After exchanging a few notes with Condren, the rules are not even complete. Try reading the rule on number backgrounds and numbers then got to VRO.com to see if they are there. He told me they were addressed in the forums a month ago (even though I received the rules just last week). They also do not believe in putting a link in the rules to the right place. He also told me that the website was not ready anyway so the link wouldn't work.

They seem to be intent on making more rules instead of just enforcing the ones they already have. We still plan to do VIR in Dec if we can afford to keep up with all the rule changes. I just really hate how they use the forum to relay information and change things. They should try to just e-mail the teams registered with the info instead on making us go searching everyday for some post with the information....

They are racing some great tracks but will eventually run out of teams to run at this rate. They are running the price up for starter teams and the rules are getting to complex (like 60 pages already??).

I think VK has a CBMWPL (Check BMW Post Light) on his computer.

If VK doesn't really want to go to Summit Point, I will likely be looking for a ride for that event if anyone has a spot. Or possibly Ryan and Stephen have the distaste for West Virginia

Being that I go to Morgantown, WV 6 times a year or more to visit the in-laws, I am A-ok with WV.

Seriously, PM me if anyone has an opening for that race. I could even tow the vehicle if needed. - AB

You are talking about the LeMon's race, right? My issue would be that THSCC is likely going to have a DE at CMP around that same time frame. If those two don't interfere, I might be up for taking our car up there.
