Here are a few pics that I took: http://importsnc.com/forums/members/rmc ... f1-gp.html

And here's a video: http://youtu.be/axknytCm8So

Richard is right, video doesn't do the noise justice, it's amazing.

My favorite picture is of the care instructions on a Scuderia Ferrari shirt:

I bought my wife one of the cute little Scuderia Ferrari women's shirts, and she really likes it, wants to wear it to the darts tournament when she goes and visits her sister next month in Wisconsin. She asked what "scuderia" means, so I told her it meant "slut" and her jaw almost hit the floor. I wish I had a camera, it was hilarious. I finally told her it meant "stable", but I'm still laughing at the expression on her face.

Just imagine what it must feel like in those cars under braking! I hear they pull 6g under braking at the end of the long straights! I am guessing their braking point was close to where you were sitting and was probably dropping from around 190 or so to about 60 in the space of the width of your video frame.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

I can't imagine the braking force, it must throw the driver against the harness. They were braking as late as they could too, I could see it when they would brake too late and end up missing the apex. It was interesting to see which drivers would brake and hit the apex on T1 most consistently. Vettel looked like a machine, but some of the other guys were really all over the place.
