Vincent,
That was you in the 240? Bryan and I both commented after the race that the 240 was making some great laps late in the evening. Great job!
In the last hour and a half that would have been Randy, not me. I was driving the 7:30-8:30 session.

And yes, our lights suck BAD. I find myself latched onto others at times just so I can use their headlights. Heck, the lights on the truck are the ORIGINAL 1964 roundy headlights. We have tried to abide by the rules on that one and it is finally time to just give up and purchase the "see into next week" halogens that everyone else is running.
Halogens? You are a entire generation of headlights behind. We have all HID lights now. They are also stupid cheap. We converted our Hella 500s from halogen to HID for $60/pair and they are super bright.

As for the contact with our cars, I have said it time and time again : there is no need in making contact with anyone, ever. I keep hearing excuses from my teammates and I continue to call BS on them. How can I (and Bryan) turn laps faster than all the rest of them and never touch another driver? It is called situational awareness and I have no tolerance for for it.
I didn't see any contact during my stints and was actually suprised at how well most drivers dialed it back during the wet sessions. I had one close call, but was able to avoid contact by putting 2-wheels off on the outside of T6. I did get frustrated with one car in particular and was about 2 turns from using the old "chrome horn" to get his attention. I can't understand a car blocking me in the first hour of a 14-hour race.
